Default Missfiring

The car started to missfire badly after i changed the spark plugs, I went throught the wires again and plugs. Now am worried and i dont know whats going wrong with the car. I changed the plugs because the car gets lazy after it shifts to 2nd nd 3rd (A4) and i thought it might be from the plugs because they were too old and now the car missfires after the plugs replacment. Any idea what would be causing the missfiring?

I've done my plug and wires a few times so I can put in my 0.02 cents in. First of all what kind of plugs did you use and what did you gap them? What about the wires, did you replace those as well? Mine did the same thing but it was mainly the 02 sensors that was causing the backfire. But even after that it still was doing it until I changed my wires and replaced a couple plugs which was gapped a little bigger then the rest. Hope this helps bro since no one else replied back to your thread.

The plugs are Acdelco platinum and I replaced the wires with MSD wires before 8k, so i didnt replace the wires. Am not sure for the platinum plugs gapping.

Yes, if you haven't gotten a tune after your longtube install then you will need a tune bro. That should solve the problem with running really rich like I was and I was burning way too much fuel as well.

you might have an exhaust leak into the o2's IE your car might be reading unmetered air and that throws it into open loop and makes it run rich

I think its because of the tune . The car ran weired the second day after installing the LT and it ran and sounded very lazy untill i give it half throttel. The tuner is 400km far away from my town, is it okay to drive it till there with out causing any problem?

Well in the Y pipe the muffler shop made a hole in the Y pipe n welded the o2 sensor. Do u think that what is causing the problem?
