e-brake problem

during lunch today everything was normal then on the way home from school i put my e-brake down and the light never went off???

wtf?

what should i do about this?

There is a micro switch inside the center console on the ebrake system. You will have to remove the center console to get to it but it seems it maybe sticking and just needs to be cleaned.

where inside the console is the switch? before i take the whole damn thing off?

and any other suggestions from anyone else?
