Default Cats?!!?

If my cat is out and is lossing performace from the engine what could happen?
My oil pressure already dropped huge! From 42 to to like 33 (guessing)

Please help me out!

You are going to have to be more specific than that. What do you mean it is out? Also your cat has nothing to do with your oil pressure.

At 4k Rpms... It like takes a nose dive... Liek the car has an issue getting it to anything over 4k RPM

How did you decide the cats were the problem? Its a 00 camaro? Hows your fuel pressure and so on. Ls car are notorious for fouling the #8 plug because of the biuldup in that injector.

Check Light cam on.. scanned it... says Cat or rear 02 censor... It gets up and goes like normal but it just happened a few hours ago.. I guess i could check it

So your driver side cat isnt working right. Check your plugs and wires on that side while your at it. You get this code when the air mearued before the cat hasnt changed enough by the end of the cat. It doesnt explain why you are dropping off in power though, unless the cat is clogging. Is it stumbling at 4k all the time or after you get the code?

After i got the code... Car was running like a champ and all of a sudden i got the light haha... I dont know if it is clogged.. I might have to look... But worest case would be take it to chevy since it is still coverd by emmisions

The code is dropping the car into dummy loop or limp mode or what ever you want to call it, so you dont hurt it. Clear the code and see how it drives. It wont fix the cat that is going bad but it should pic the performance up again until the next load cycle throws the code again.

unhook the battery for about 20 minutes or so.
