Default oil leak

does anyone know if it is possible to change the rear main seal on the engine without pulling the motor. also does anyone know of any shortcuts on changing out the rear main seal and oil pan gasket.

your going to have to pull something....motor, tranny, etc...as far as short cuts ive just done it the old fashion way with the motor out of the car

I think most people would agree pulling the trans is the easiest way to do it.

Pull the trans and you will be home free. It's not too bad on your car.
