ac idle pulley Hey guys,
Need some help here, on the ac belt i have been hearing a noise off and on, that gets worse when i put belt dreasing
. I tried to narrow down the noise and i think it is coming from the idle pulley above the tensioner. Problem is autozone and O'reallys don't have it. Where should i try the dealer?

GM Parts Direct or SDPC sell them. The price is ~$30 shipped, the part number is 12557335.
It may be worth taking the pulley off and putting some grease or something in there to verify that it's the idler pulley squeaking and not the tensioner. I replaced the idler pulley thinking it was the only problem and still get noise from the tensioner.

Try a new belt first. I thought that was a crap solution too, but my old belt was cracked and I figured what the hell. So I went to Autozone to see if they had the pulley, which they didn't, so I bought just the belt. Replaced that and don't get squeaks anymore. 
I bought it from the dealer and it was not it. So i still hear the noise and im out 50 dollars. i sprayed wd-40 on the belt and the noise would go away. i would also move the ac belt tensioner and it was go away. could it be the belt.
