remounting hi-beam switch

Default remounting hi-beam switch
the FOG LIGHT SWITCH has fallen back inside the console about an inch or two. any tips on getting the console off and remounting it?

today i got the panel off and mounted it, but it didn't last long. after pressing the switch a few times and began to slide back out and then went back completely. i guess the bracket is too worn down, and either i need a new one or i need to somehow secure it from behind, but i dont know what i would use.
