Default belt still squeaking...wtf?

Here's my delima I did have a bad power steering pressure hose but I replaced it and it quit for a while but now it's squeaking worse and there aren't any problems with the water pump or steering pump etc. Do I just need to replace the belt???

I'll try that but it's not like they cost that much so I may just replace the damn thing. I have used pencil lead on the non serpentine belts and that works for a while.

yes just replace the belt and when you do that get some brakleen and clean all your pullies also. you probably still have some oil residue on the belt and the pullies

You might still have air in the system since you replaced the pressure line. You should bleed the system by jacking up the front end so both tires are off of the ground. Then turn the steering wheel, with the car off, all the way back and forth 20 times. You should also remove some of the fluid from the reservoir prior to doing this so that it does not over flow. Then start the car up and turn the wheel back and forth a few times, let the car run for a few minutes, the noise should be gone shut her down and lower the car test drive.

I had a realllly bad squeak for the last week. Changed both belts and a belt tensioner pulley. After a couple days it came back.. I grabbed a belt conditioner soap and put it on for a minute or two, and BAM it's gone.... now I can drive my car without my head sunk down below the door
