Trans problem Im looking into buying a 95 Z28 with 85xxx miles on it. It has a shift kit, and a tune. The tranny shifts fine when normally driving, but once you floor it, it just revs up to red line, and doesnt move any faster. It is disconnecting for some reason. Any ideas on what it could be, and how major of a fix it is?

the trans is going bad I had the same problem, I was able to fix my problem temporarily, by having the trans flushed, and adding lucas trans fix. I believe the new fluid, and modifier swelled the clutches making them stick better, and thus shift, instead of slipping and causing redline, and rev limiter.....hope this helps, mine still works good 3k later.
