Coolant overflow remix. =|
My coolant is boiling over through my rez. I've replaced upper and lower radiator hoses, new rez cap and new radiator cap, along with a new 186deg. thermo.
im still getting the problem
I'm wondering if it is possible that im not getting a good seal on my rezivour due to the actual rezivor threads. I noticed that when it over flows the flow is only on the back side of the rez. cap. Also i noticed that in that same spot there appears to be a small endintion/notch on the actual rezivour threads. Would this be able to still cause an overflow? I dont really think it should but now im desprate so im checking out all possiblilitys.
I'll have pics of it up momentarily
thanks in advance fellas
EDIT: No way it could be the radiator rez threads. ugh.

its venting out the radiator rezivour cap.
a couple people have suggested a bad head gasket but ive checked my oil after running it and its fine, no white or anything. (i was told if there was a white hue to the oil its a good way to tell if the head gasket is bad)
edit: OH i might add, it only does this when im driving around town, every weekend or so i drive 3 hours up north on the highway and dont have this problem at all, just when im daily driving around town

Put a small paper towel underneath the small tube that comes out underneath the right side of the throttle body (it comes from under the intake manifold). Pull the rubber tube off and hold your thumb over the opening, and open the radiator cap. Fill it through the radiator and all of the air pushes right out of that metal tube. When a steady stream of coolant comes out of the tube, remove your thumb from the rubber side and push it back together. Top off radiator and put the cap on. Start it briefly, top off radiator again, and that's it.
If you do not bleed you will overheat!!
