Default Lock Lug

Ok, here's the deal. I lost the key for my lug locks on my 1998 T/A. What is the cheapest route to getting these off? I just want to replace them with standard lugs. One local shop said $45 to get them off, another said $10 a wheel. I also found some sockets at AutoZone that looked like they might work, but they are $20 and I don't wanna get them just to find out that they don't work. should I try to get a new key from the dealer? Also, if anyone in Newport News, Va would let me use their's I would greatly appreciate it. any other ideas?

A bolt-out for removing stripped bolts usually works. That or an air hammer, but I wouldn't us the latter considering our lug nuts are recessed. Sears Auto Centers charge $6/lock. They also claim no liability for marred wheels.

Yeah, the bolt-out kit is what I was looking at at AutoZone. I may just go that route if it's likely to work. But i'll also call the dealer and see how much the key costs, it may actually be under $20. Still, i'd prefer to just find someone locally that will let me use theirs, but if that doesn't work out, i'll just have to pony up some $.

Get the key. You can reuse the locks and no chance of damaging anything for the same cost as a professional removing them and possibly screwing up your wheels.

Cheapest and it works. Those nuts should only be around 100 ft lbs.

I don't have an impact gun, but we got it off using the Autozone bolt-out kit.
