Is there any way to tell what month and year a 7 year AC Delco battery is? I'm trying to find out how old the battery is so I can decide if I want to switch it with one out of a car I'm selling.
There's a code on it but I can't decipher it. Also, the copyright on the battery label is 1997. I can't imagine the battery is 10 years old though.
What should I look for?
