Question Advice: Emissons (EVAP)

Hi Everyone,

I am currently getting the engine code: P1441. I have swapped my purge solenoid many times and its command module. Also, I have replaced my charcoal canister but I keep getting the P1441 code.

I recently purchased a vacuum and hooked it up to the line that runs to the purge solenoid. When I start the car I get -15 HG vacuum. When I turn off the car and attempt to pump air using the hand vacuum I get some pressure (I think up to 5HG or less) but it shortly falls back to 0.

What am I doing wrong? Ive had this code for two years and its time for it to say good bye

Cheers,
D

Check the lines for leaks especially at the solenoid. Or they could be hooked up backwards, I accidently did that once when I removed the intake, and got the same code.

heres a pic from shoebox
