Default Clicking noise at High RPM

Hey guys, I have been getting a fast clicking noise (kind of like a sewing machine) at high rpms on hot days when I run the car hard. Could this possibly be a lifter?

The car still runs excellent, and usually never makes this noise on a cool day under 75 degrees. Also, i'm running GC 0w-30 if that helps....

Any potential damage to the engine, or anything else if I don't get it fixed asap?

if its pretty loud, id deff. say its something internal and yes there could be major engine damage if it continues...
