Default 6 speed shifter resistance & clicking

Lately my 6 speed has given me a little resistance when changing gears... and making a kind of "click" feeling/sound just before I get all the way into gear. I don't know if it's the stops beause the clicking is before I reach the full range of motion. It's almost like I'm having to click past something before it goes into gear.

I checked the tranny mount and it looks brand new... I assume they put a new one on last year with the new clutch.

Anybody know what's going on?

No, it's not grinding. My 4th gear synchro is on the way out... so I am familiar with that type of failure.

It's typically just a single click sound, then there is a little resistance, then the shifter will finally push all the way into gear. It's almost like the shifter handle is hitting against a metal piece as I shift... but I've removed the boot and can't see anything obvious.

I don't know... it's hard to describe. Any help is appreciated!

I recently had something kinda similar. My problems were all in first and second gear and only happened if I was shifting from neutral (i.e. I clutched out in neutral either moving or stopped and then clutched back in to shift into gear). Bleeding & flushing my clutch seems to have fixed it.
