Default trying to remove alternator.

im trying to remove the alternator and i got the 15mm bolts off but the bolt in the back that goes to the battery which is inbetween 2 1/2mm bolts doesnt want to come loose. I tried to put a wrench on the last bolt and it doesnt fit. I also tried needle nose pliers and i cant get it to budge.

Another thing the harness that has that red wire came out. so besides being a dumbass what can i do to remove that bolt and also what can i do about the wire harness.

thanks

all I can tell you is, I used a stubby 3/8 drive rachet and maybe an extension to get to the back bolt, and as far as the power wire goes I used a smaller socket on that too. It's easy and obvious what you need to do. just try a little harder.

Not easily... your going to have to find a way to get that wire back into the weatherpack connector.. Depending on where the wire broke will determine how hard that's going to be.

Just buy a new one from the dealership. They are about $35 and they'll give you one that has all four wires, just cut the ones you don't need. That's what I did............
