My AC Compressor seems to be hissing/squealing lightly when it is engaged, seems to get louder with the rpms. Anybody else have this issue, car had 55k miles so Im hoping it is not on it's way out but it wouldnt suprise me.

sounds like your compressor clutch may be starting to go. how loud is it getting and does the a/c still work properly? they do make some noise to a degree from engaging and disengaging but if it's noticably loud then i would suspect the clutch.

A/C is working fine, the noise isnt THAT loud but noticable and you can tell it cuts off as soon as you turn the A/C off. Ive also been noticing that when you turn the A/C on and off the car kinda haults for second, almost as if you downshifted ort tapped the brakes, it last only a fraction of a second but you can feel it.
