Thats what it does when the sensor goes bad. I just unplugged mine, took care of the problem. The sensor is on the pass side of the radiator about 3/4 of the way to top on the engine side

is your coolant slimey and oily? I had a PS fluid leak into the cooling system and the contamination of the coolant caused the low coolant sensor to pop the light on. power steering cooler is in the upper radiator pipe, which had an internal leak.

i dont think its leaking. i just remember it started coming on ever since i added some more coolent in there like four months ago. i changed all the coolant after i changed my water pump. and it still comes on. most likely the sensor is out but could it be the type of coolant i used that caused the sensor to go out??

that sensor tends to go out alot....check the level, if its good just unplug the sensor...it wont have any ill effects and if your a good car owner you check your fluid levels anyway...
