Odd thing, I have always driven up on my black rhinos w/No problem!! Today after following this post for a week or so, all of a sudden, my black rhinos w/rubber pads started to slide while driving up onto them.....some sort of rhino revolt??? LOL

+1 for having the black ramps, same problems with the garage, no big deal, just put them on the driveway, and like every1 else yes i am 300 times more comfortable under the car when it is on ramps, jackstands make me nervous

My rhino ramps are so old that they don't have the opening underneath for the rubber stopper, and back then they only had the 8800 series. If you center the ramps while you push them into the tires, you won't have any problems with the 275 wide tires. I definitely agree with the advice not to eyeball it and go, pull the car within a couple feet of where you want to end up, place the ramps in front of the tires like you would a chock, then drive up.
To keep the ramps from sliding on the plastic tiles in my garage, I use the cheap foam/rubber mats that Pep Boys sells that lock together, for standing on concrete, they are under $10 for four pieces - use 2 per side.
