camaro alarm??

Question camaro alarm??
Ok...i have a 2002 v6 3.8L camaro...
The car alarm will randomly go off if i lock the doors by keyless entry...
if i manually lock the doors..the alarm will not go off..
i understand that when locking by keyless entry it sets the alarm..but it will just start going off randomly..i guess last night it went off all night and my battery was dead this morning..
I was told to disconnect the alarm..so i did..(the sensor in the trunk above the spare tire) and the alarm quit..but now when i shut off my car..it goes dead...i disconnected the battery, and reconnected it, and thats the only way my car will start...
any ideas? I have no idea what to do!!!
