Popup Headlights

Popup Headlights The driver's side popup headlamp sometimes doesn't raise up on the first try. Usually, when I turn the switch off and on, again, it will riase up. Everything looks okay as far as alignment, and I know it's not a gear problem. I was thinking it might be electrical as in a bad switch. Has anyone had to replace the headlight switch? Any suggestions?

You kow I have the EXACT same thing happining to me. I thought it was a gear problem.
I honestly ont know why it does that but would love to find out.

Re: Popup Headlights i did check, the fuse's and the harness's that connect the motor to the headlight. i thought my motor was bad but the female portion of the harness was corroded so i just bought another one. if your headlight motor is not making any noise and doesnt come up just because im guessing its an electrial problem...

Re: Popup Headlights Thanks fellas. At first I thought I had thrown it out of alignment by leaning against it during intake removal and installation, but it looks okay. I want to get this fixed before I go for an inspection sticker, otherwise, I'm not that worried about it. I was thinking about replacing the headlight switch, but I hate hit-or-miss troubleshooting

Re: Popup Headlights Thanks MSH. For some reason I was thinking that the switch had individual circuits for each headlight. Why I thought that, I don't know. I'm definitely looking at the wiring for that headlight first.
