Default car dollys

is it ok to tow my camaro with a car dolly? or should i just get a full trailer instead? it will be towed 90 miles. thanks

I'd get a trailer instead. You can technically tow it with the dolly if you HAD TO. Put the REAR tires on the dolly (since it's a rear-drive vehicle). Then you're going to have whatever "slop" is in the dolly, along with whatever is in the front end of the car - it's going to want to "wag the dog" - make the vehicle you're towing with want to shake back and forth. The guy I pit next to at the race track towed for a year like that, then bought a trailer. It's up to you, but I wouldn't do it.

what is the problem with towing a rwd car with the front wheels attached to the dolly? bad for the rear i assume?
