Freon?

Freon? My A/C just recently went out (not blowing cold air) and being new to the F Body I was just wondering where does the Freon go? I've heard it's not that easy to replace the freon...could someone clarify this process for me?

Take it to a shop.
If it ran out of freon it has a leak that needs to be repaired, after that it needs to be evacuated and the charge weighed in.
You don't have the tools to do it right, I know because if you did you wouldn't be asking this question, there is nothing special about putting freon in an f-body.
Most people are quick to call me a smartass or whatever but I'm trying to save you some money and frustration. There are cheap kits you can buy to put freon in it. But what happens when you pay for this kit and all the freon leaks out 5 minutes later 100% waste of money.
