Default Replaced waterpump and thermostat and getting hotter than before!?!?!?

Ok so my waterpump was leaking yesterday and getting slightly hotter than 210. So I figured if I was going to replaced the waterpump (with a bran new one) I may as well replace the thermostat as well and do it right.

Well last night I spent all night and replaced both on my car Ive had less than 3 weeks. and it seems like we did a good job as it's not leaking and we made sure to get the hoses right.

Now it's getting hotter than 210!! and if I let it it keeps climbing.

Any ideas? The car just hit 60,000

has a MS3 cam with cat delete y pipe and slp loudmouth 2 catback.

OK, went back out there after letting it cool off and it took a whole bunch of water! after finishing off my dexacool jug.

never went above 210 now, so Im gonna let it cool off and then add more water.

Make sure you check it periodicaly for the next couple days and add coolant when needed, this should eliminate any bubbles.

It sometimes takes a few hot/cold cycles to get rid of all the air bubbles. You should be fine.
