Fix the problem causing it.

Have it scanned & fix it is the only way I know of. If you recently did a mod that caused it your tuner should be able to turn it off when you get some edits.

It was the EGR but I fixed it so now I need to know how to reset it? Can I just unplug the battery for awhile or do I have to reset it with a OBD-2 code reader?

Well when we removed my EGR for the LT's the light wouldn't go off until I had my tuner turn the codes off.

PCM Reset

Turn key on, don't start car
Pull PCM BATT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment
Wait 5-10 min
Turn ignition off
Replace fuses

BTW, idle will be grumpy after resetting it this way for a few minutes until it relearns.
