Default Misfire Detected in random cylinders

Hi all.
New to LS1Tech. I just purchased a 96 Firebird T/A with a procharger. Took it to the track, put 110 in it, and on the drive back, Check engine light flashed. Took to autozone. ran diag, got code, says misfire detected in random cylinders. Replaced the plugs, thinking of replacing the O2's. Timing chain is slipping a little as well. would that cause the problem? Any help would be appriciated.

Added: Also i need to replace the timing chain. Any suggestions for a stronger one that wont stretch. Also, any one used timing gears? if so any good, and which ones.

timing chain would be my guess.

look at it this way
the code you were prolly read was p0300 with is a random multiple cylinder misfire detected. which means that the computer is detecting a missfire on atleast all the cylinders at some point so think bigger. vaccum leaks. fuel prolblem. timing issue.
