BIG PROBLEM with window motor install!!

BIG PROBLEM with window motor install!! I pulled the door panel off and started taking stuff apart to get the motor out and I looked and realized that the roller on the front of the regulator was off of the arm. SO I continued to pull it out and I figured I could just snap it back into place after I put the motor and stuff back in. WELL now I have it all back in and the ball that the roller sits back in doesn't want to snap back into place.

Re: BIG PROBLEM with window motor install!! I replaced my motor with a Siemens motor from Autozone. The install was a breeze. Luckily I didn't have any issues like you are experiencing. I couldn't get a c-clamp in to hold up the window so I just had a friens\d hold up the windo all the way then I inserted a 1x3 piece of wood in between the regulator and the door shell; worked great. I also applied a generous amount of white lithium grease to the regulator. I trimmed the rubber on the edge of the window near the door jamb, that decreased the resistance.

Re: BIG PROBLEM with window motor install!! I had the same problem on mine. I don't know if it can be done without pulling it all back out. All I know is that I DID pull it all back out.

By the way I got everything put back together and I had it fixed but it popped back out!
