bad bearing?
bad bearing? I just bought my 01 z28 last monday. everything has been fine, I was driving up to phoenix to see my parents.I started hearing this noise from the rear diver side. I got out and made sure the wheel was tight and it was. it sounds like I have a flat spot, but there newer tires. in the morning I will swap the rims/tires from front to rear and see if the noise goes away. I was doing some searching and I'm not sure if the noise is a bad wheel bearing or something else. I didn;t hear the noise till today when I was on the freeway. I was hoping there was something I can do to see where the noise is coming from. when I searched I saw one guy say he did both wheel bearings and it was a problem with the pinion.

After driving it feel the wheel and compare it to the other one. If it's hotter that's agood indication it's something specific to that wheel. Possibly a bearing or maybe a caliper dragging.
