Noise.... Help...
Noise.... Help... I know how hard it is to diagnose a problem without hearing or seeing, here is my current dilema. When i cut my car on it makes a clunking noise, but it still cranks up, a couple of seconds after its running it will stop, or if i apply gas. Think it might be a loss started, thats not what worries me. As i am driving down the road and let off the gas and coast my car will start to jerk, but as soon as i reapply gas it gets up and goes. its not preventing me from driving, just a huge inconvenience, anyone have a clue?
Just installed a 4l60e from performabuilt a month ago, prior to that i had a TH350 and with the th350 in it didnt make that jerk, dont know if that has anything to do with the problem.

I dont know about the noise possibly a craked flex plateand also check your coverter bolts. But the jerkingis likley cam surge during lockup . I would raise the lockup mph and see what that does

Well you need lockup to avoid over heating the trans in 4th gear , I would set it up to lock only in 4th gear and only at 45 mp and up
