Default pcv hose ripped

My pcv hose ripped today. It's the part from the pcv valve to the throttle
body. Does anyone have a picture of a repair . I wrapped some electrial tape around it but I'm sure it won't hold up. Thanks for any pictures and list of parts used. Oh yeah I don't want to give the dealer $100 for their part.

Wow, $100 for just that few inches of hose?

On a side note, was your hose (from the end of the PCV valve to the TB) clamped on at all, or just pressed in? Just wondering since when I replaced mine, I noticed that everything just seemed to be pushed together.

Man, my PCV elbow was cracked, and I could never find one that fit right from autozone. So i rigged one up with some tape. But my hose was fine..

i had the same problem, i went out and bought fuel line, about 4 incehs of it. I cut it down to the size i needed, and stretched it to fit the TB and pcv.

Go buy 3/8" hose and make your own. Less than $10.00 for pretty much an entirely new PCV hose assembly.

Mine was ripped too and I went to Home Depot, got a brass fitting barbed on one side large threads on the other. A new hose from tube to barbed end and a thick tube on the threads to PCV. Works well and looks better than the taped up original fix.

For any of you guys that live some place where they do smog inspections, Ca. style, the fuel hose/vacuum hose etc. won't pass inspection. It's gotta be real emissions hose.

Do these cars actually have PCV valves or just a vent system? I couldn't find my valve I looked on the driver side valve cover and there was no valve just a plastic plug that went from the hose to the valve cover.
