LT1 being annoying again...

LT1 being annoying again... ok so i just got my car... and just got it back from shop, got new plugs, wires, and couple other things done...just brought it home today, running great.. go to work... guy here wanted to check out the car, go out, start it, everything cool, idling for like min or two, give it a quick rev, and thing just shuts off.. no sputtering, just dies...try to start it, nothing... doesnt even try to turn over, just cranks, tried push starting it, nothing.. wtf could it be? ignition? opti? coil?

ok we checked for spark, had that... tried starting again while giving it gas this time and i got a little sputter out of it.. him so have my cousin push me with his car and finally got it started from popping the clutch... so let it warm up, idle hanging high at 1500, so i just drive to get it home, idle wont go under 1500... parked it.. shut it off.. started it again to see if it would, it did, idle then dropped to normal.. i am soo confused... but smells like its dumping to much fuel... any thoughts?
