Default Clockspring Info.

How have you guys removed these from the columns, I can't seem to get the wires out. Should I remove the wires from the connectors?

Thanks

You have to pull the whole column apart to get the space large enough to get the connector through.

Did you remove the steering column housing??

I haven't pulled the housing itself off, Is that what's held together with three silver torx screws?

To pull the housing takes some time but not much. Just take a breath!

I remember having to pull the lock cylinder, turn sig cam, locking plate, and yes a couple of torx screws on the support housing itself.

Maybe this attached exploded diagram could help.

ok, thanks, I got everything but the screws holding the housing on. That diagram pinpointed it for me.
