Default Couple Problems

Hey got a few problems with a Transam I bought:

Back light for left side steering wheel controls - What kind of bulb(194?) pop the button off to get to it?

12v appliance and cig lighter-Fuse?

Driver Side Side Mirror up/down asdjustability- the center part was loose until I "forced" back in(was like a little bar and a slot for it), was held on by corner screws, now dosent have up/down

Tripodometer resets when car off- trip goes to 0 when the car is cut off

Dr. Side PL switch only lock, no unlock- um take apart and see if corroded??

Headlights Dont shoot far, aimed low I assume

Thanks,
Tommy

Replace door lock switch, replace steering wheel control assembly, replace the mirror switch if that is what you are describing, re aim headlamps, replace the vehicles battery that is always the cause of the trip meter resetting.

Do I need to just buy the button and electronics attached or all the controls on the door.
The steering wheel controls are $90 from gmpartdirect, so I cant replace the bulb?
The mirror switch is fine, the mirror itself was popped out and floppy becuse it was attached at two corners by screws.
Guess I will do that, is there a way to make them open more or just aim them higher at current opening.
Yea I notice the battery has a hole that says charge when black, its black. Ill try slow charging first, we will see.

Thanks, trying to make me go the expensive way of replacing, lol.

Also forgot to ask this, I ordered a brass gear for the headlight because passenger side has the stripped gear and its been 180 fixed before, and aside from that why would the passenger side come up and the driver side have a 1/2 second delay?

Sounds like you have a stock delco battery they are junk when new so dont even bother trying to charge it. Once you pull the panel off on the door panel the switches are available separately. Replace the drivers door mirror thats the only reliable fix. Bulbs in the steering wheel controls are non replaceable.
