Advance by me has them in stock, you need to buy the cup (outer part) and cone (inner part) $19 per side.
Their calling it a differential bearing so if you talked to one of the dumbasses they might not have seen a carrier bearing listed. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...ential+Bearing
Autozone has them too. http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,.../selectZip.htm

Phone shop a couple of parts stores in a chain - eventually you'll get someone who can spell / search their system correctly. When you find someone with some sense, get a part number from him and call back your local store to check for availability.

OK, I just dropped the carrier off at a shop to get both bearings replaced. I'm waiting on a call saying its finished...
What should this guy be charging me for this?

I can't believe no one has told you that you're doing a half *** job here. If the carrier bearing/race is pitted, where do you think all that metal went? The outer pinion bearings are the most common failure on these rears, with the carrier bearing being a close second. The chance of that outer pinion bearing being bad is extremely high with all that metal floating around. You need to do the job properly, replace the pinion bearings too.

Thanks for the info,
I just bolted everything back together. I don't really feel like doing it all over +more for the pinion bearing. If the sound is still there, I'll most likely be redoing the whole rear, or having it done for me.

check the housing as well since i had a similiar problem and I actually broke the passenger side tube from the differential, theres only two spot welds and they arent strong once you have about 450rwhp and do high rpm launches...Make sure the housing is good and for good measure I would replace all the bearings in it
