Getting out of snow.. Now SES light on.
Now I slip like crazy in the snow so it was a hassle getting out, I had to give it a lot of umph to get out of the spot, but I finally did.
After I got out though the SES light came on, and is still on. I only have a little less than a quarter of a tank left of gas. When I start it, it sputters a lot (which its never done before so this is why im worried), but it doesnt seem like its going to die out or anything.
Anyone know what it could be? I leave to drive, im sorry i mean DRIFT, home to NY on thursday (DAMN SNOW SHOWERS) ; which is about a 250mil trek so Id like to see if I can fix beforehand.
Thanks
I usually get a 'low trac' light when I'm spinning hard to get unstuck (despite NOT having traction control), but NEVER an SES light.
I filled up my tank and it seems to be running normally now, BUT the ses light is still on. I havent been able to unhook the battery yet though, HURRAY FOR IT SNOWING AGAIN
Grrr. >: (
edit: And yes it was warmed up
Turn key on, don't start car.
Pull PCM BATT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment.
Wait 5-10 min.
Turn ignition off.
Replace fuses.
Idle will be grumpy for a few minutes until it relearns.

Pull the code to be sure. Though, I'm gonna go on a limb here and say O2 sensor. Considering the 4 we have and how low it is, all it takes is a bit of salt + water to screw it up if it gets in. I covered mine up in aluminum tape and gave some good anti sieze to keep moisture from slipping in on mine.

BUT little did I know doing that killed my battery lol! It couldnt start after I did the thing so I had to get it jumped. It seems fine but now, I get strong sputtering at low rpms when Im driving, and my battery stays in the middle/low. And the oil gauge looks like its going crazy sometimes.
I think it still is the O2 sensor? If so, where/how do I get to it?
Any other ideas?
