Default another vibration thread!! Please help.

I have an 02 z28 6 speed. All mods are in sig. well as soon as i got the tranny and clutch back from being built, i slapped it all in and took it for a drive. thats when i noticed an odd vibration, it starts around 30mph and gradually gets worse with speed. it is a very tight vibration, like something spinning very fast. i can be going 80 and clutch it and the vibration is still there, it doesnt go with the engine, it goes with the speed of the car. ive taken the driveshaft to a shop to have it and the u joints checked and they are fine, plus i didnt have this vibration before the clutch, tranny swap. sooo what could this be? as much as i hate to say it, it leans towards a tweaked output shaft, but all parts in the tranny are brand new, and was built by sixspeedsinc. I dont know what to do.. please help.

Could be driveshaft wasn't marked and installed the same way, could be 90*, 180*, ect. out of phase. That might give you a vibration.

this was a brand new built driveshaft with new u joints. i will try flipping after i go make for sure that all tires are balanced perfect. the vibration gets alot worse at high speeds, so that tells me for sure its not the flywheel, clutch, or pressure plate, because i can clutch it and put it in neutral and let it coast and the vibration doesnt change it just slows down with the spend of the car.

well i took it to the tire shop this evening and the only thing that they could find was one of the tires was way off when they did the road force test on it.. has anyone had this problem, they said it was from when they were on the front it wore weird due to it being out of alignment and they said it was choppy on the inside of the tire. could this cause the vibration that i described?

It could, can you switch it with another tire and take it for a drive? On my car I put greaseable u-joints and installed both grease valves on the same side on accident causing a vibration. Maybe check that as well.

im going to the tire shop tomorrow and im gonna see if they've got a used tire we can mount on that rim, cuz all i have are slicks and really dont wanna put them on to see if my vibration is fixed cuz they arent that smooth anyway. and as far as grease fittings, the u joints i use are non greasable.

well that didnt work, i also found that my panhard bar was loose so i tightened it and that didnt help either. well im gonna borrow a driveshaft from my bro in law, that i know is good, and see if that fixes it. if not im going to put it on jackstands and run it and see if i can see anything vibrating. any advise on what to look at or what to expect while doing this?
