Default Stuck sparkplug?

Hi.

I was doin' some winter maintenance the other day on my LS1 Camaro SS -98.

Everything was going fine, replaced all lubricants including differential and brushed up and cleaned all engine parts...

I was going to finalize it by replacing all plugs, since it's never been done while the car has been in my possesion. Just to discover that two of the plugs is stuck. And i really mean STUCK. I've tried everything from engine oil to bolt-loosening spray... But they won't come off. I've grinded my knuckles to the bone and it's still stuck.

Any ideas or tricks to get them out... Without using brute force and breaking them... With resulting junk in the cylinders. So... i don't want to force them to much. But since i've lost all skin on my knuckles it's safe to say i've tried quite hard already

Id keep spraying them with PB blaster and let it sit over night. If its a easy one to get at maybe you can run the car a little and heat them up unless you will burn yourself where its at. Good luck

Try spraying them down w/PB Blaster and letting it sit. Come back a few hours later and spray again.. keep doing this pretty much all day. Next morning try an break it loose.

If that doesnt work you could try starting your car to get them warm (not hot) and give it a go. You dont want your car too warm or you will risk yanking the threads.

try to use a breaker bar or you can try to start the car with that spark plug disconnected! you want the plug to be as cool as possible while you want the block to be warm so it expands

When I changed my spark plugs during my header install all my spark plugs had locktite or something on them from the previous owner. They would not budge one bit with a regular socket wrench.

I took the handle off my jack and slid it over the wrench and it gave me much more leverage to get them out. Probably took 20-30 minutes for each plug.

breaker bar will work for sure. run the engine for like 5 or 10 minutes and then try. make sure you have gloves because the manifold is going to be hot.
