clutch problem

clutch problem on my way to school to day i noticed that i had to push down further than usual on the clutch pedal for my clutch to disengage. and that when i released it my clutch would catch practically right when my pedal was right off the floor.
then when i was at a stop going from neutral to 1st gear i couldnt shift into first or any other gears. i pulled over and sat there pressing down on the clutch pedal repeatedly untill it finally disengaged. i drove it back home and parked it.
i dont really know what it could be because it was fine the day before.
any ideas?

Back right of engine bay there should be a little reservoir, not the big one, mayby one ounce in volume. Check color as well, might help to give it a bleed, check in the manual transmission section under the stickies.
