Default Anyone havea squeek in the trunk

My car idles real rough and after hard acceleration my rear trunk makes noise. I am wondering if anyone knows why.

The first thing to check for a squeek in the back would be the jack and spare tire. I also had an issue with my amp making noise. The amp is above the right rear wheel well behind a panel, make sure it's on tight and not vibrating.

For a rough idle the first thing I would look into is a seafoam treatment, see the sticky in this forum for more info.

I haven't taken anything apart but I am suspect of the trunk hatch. But you guys might be on to something. I am going to take apart the back and find out what the hell that noise is.

The rough idle is from my big *** cam.lol Actually that bitch shakes a lot. I wasn't sure what people meant by street or track setup but now I know. I like it but it's tough to drive slow. The car wants to move.

Mine started squeaking after I added LCA relocation brackets and an adjustable panhard rod. I can't determine where the noise is coming from.

I was going to ask if any of you have aftermarket lower control arms. The polyurethane bushings that typically come with these parts have a tendency to squeak, especially if not lubed up and greased enough. Just some info for you.

I had a squeak in my trunk area too. I tore everything out of the area to find I still had a squeak. It ended up being a bolt that held on the exhaust was backing out allowing the exhaust bracket to move. I tightened the bolt with a little loctite and it as good as new. No more annoying squeak.
