plug part # question need help asap

Default plug part # question need help asap

everyone says tr55 but the plugs i installed yesterday say tr5ix. is this the wrong plug. should it not say tr55ix need to know. Because after install the car has a miss and i have triple checked wires.i was told to gap at .04 is this correct

Okay, why are you going a range colder than stock? TR55's are real good for higher compression builds, not so much for stock engines. There are different gaps for the v6 and v8; which one are you? For v8's the gap is .060; for v6's, it's .040. That's what my Haynes manual sez, at least.

this is what the advance parts stated the z28 took for the ngk plugs.

tr55 is the stock replacement plug in the NGK brand. they should be gaped properly straight out of the box.
