Low Oil Light On

Low Oil Light On My low oil light is on and will not go off. Last time I did an oil change and it went off for about three weeks. Today I did a oil change and had about 6 quarts of oil that drain out. And the light is still on. Do you guys think the oil pressure sensor may be gone out???
You're not parked on some steep angle are you? Only reason I ask is because the oil level indicator only checks the level on start-up, so in theory it could happen. Probably not, but I'm just throwing that out there.

Yeah I know its located on the pass side. Check all the wiring and everything was good. Not parked on a hill to throw it off. Just won't go off. Oil press is good.

Has the car been up to full operating temp? The way I remember it the light comes on at about 2 quarts low, even after filling to the correct level it'll stay on until the PCM sees 194? degrees, then recheck on the next ignition cycle before it goes off.
Mine is doing the same thing. Replaced the sensor and its still on. Im thinking the wire is broke at the connector. Havent had a chance to trace it out yet. I have the wiring diagrams on how its hooked up. Only two wires, one to the central ground and the other to the blue connector 1 pin 70 to the ECM.

Mine is doing the same thing. Replaced the sensor and its still on. Im thinking the wire is broke at the connector. Havent had a chance to trace it out yet. I have the wiring diagrams on how its hooked up. Only two wires, one to the central ground and the other to the blue connector 1 pin 70 to the ECM.
