How To Read Oil Dipstick I checked the owner's manual, but I couldn't find anything specific about the normal oil range.
For a '99 TA, would any oil level past the arrow point indicate too much oil? Shouldn't the proper oil level be within the fiber grooves right before the arrow?

always good to check the oil man eespecailly if you like to go fast around corners . them gs pull the oil around and too litlle will not cycle in the engine . some folks put in a drysump to prevent this .

^ Well remember some people don't know where to run their oil, without having to worry about engine damage. As well as many people don't know whether to check their oil hot or cold. When i change my oil i go with 5.5qts, and sometimes alittle bit more.
