T-Top lock fell out...
T-Top lock fell out... Hello. A wierd thing happened yesterday: The lock mechanism on my passenger-side T-Top fell out, for no good reason. I've tried to put it back in, but its not working. The roof still closes shut and stays on while driving, I just cannot lock the roof.
The plastic is still intact (no rips, warps, etc) around where the lock goes, so I'm wonder what on earth happened? Has anyone else had this problem? Will I need to replace the entire T-top?? How much am I looking at spending if thats the case?

Open the t top up. My guess is the retaining ring unscrewed somehow. All the lock does is move an arm in the way of the mechanism so you can't open the latch. As long as the lock didn't break but just came loose it should be simple enough to fix.
