Default SLP Spark Plug Socket

Does anyone know if that modified spark plug socket offered by SLP actually make changing the plugs on a f-body LS1 without headers any easier?? It was suggested that I make my own from another socket?? Would either of these work, or make it easier/faster to swap the plugs out??
Thanks.

it seems to me that it would only help for the #8 plug
as it is looks too be short to be use with and extension and ratchet for the other 7.
i used a standard spark plug socket many times with no problems,
for #8 i have to remove the starter and use a box wrench on the socket.
i have KOOKS 1 3/4" headers.
i guess it depends on the headers you have.
hope that helps.
