Default Stock GM radiator = FAIL.

Thanks GM for putting plastic parts of the sdkjfwweflkjfe radiator.

I'm no rocket scientist but i know enough about science to realize that different materials expand and contract at different rates, making a plastic/aluminum radiator a ****-poor idea.

Anyone know who makes a replacement radiator that isn't retarded expensive? And does NOT have plastic sides...?

Because that's all i can find. Either they're half plastic and suck or they're universal and horribly expensive and most likely won't fit.

An all aluminum or all copper radiator would be nice.

Thank you for your time,
-Anthony

Yeah, sucks, but most cars nowadays have the plastic side tanks. BeCool does make a nice replacement.

eh, cars have been using that type of radiator for years with no overheating problems. You hardly ever see cars pulled off to the side of the road billowing smoke on a hot day.

^ except for mine, in 70º weather, and my radiator was nicely maintained. So who knows. lol

I love be-cools replacements but i don't have 1/2 a grand to drop on a radiator. so i think I'm going to have to suck it up and go OEM, but it includes the life time warranty...Sooo I'm sure I'll be back. lol

Thanks for the help guys. =)

get the 95 radiator its thicker better cooling! the only problem you would get with plastic tanks on these radiators is cracking around the tranny cooler fittings overtime, then its time to replace the radiator!
