30mph why no power
like what was said a stall will help alleviate the dead spot but that dead spot isn't because your car isn't working right its there because its the nature of the beast either get over it or get a higher stall
323s and 273s are different though.. i think with 273s it will kick down at like 34 and my 373s kick doing at like 28.. but im not 100% on that...
actually best way to solve your problem come to think of it.. forge.. H/C.. procharger.. 9".. built trans.. some suspension and tires....
^^^^ no dead spots.. anywhere..... ever.. lol

although it is funny because by the time you pass them they are doing like 55 or 60 and your doing like 70.. so thats funny.. but still....
then the old... "you hit the nitrous".. with no solinoids.. lines.. nothing under the hood.. haha.....

ok doing 35 your car doesnt drop down into first.. it stays in second.. BUT your gear selecter is in D.......
doing 35 again.. you drop it down into second.. THIS TIME THOUGH!!!!! it still doesnt kick down.. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your gear selecter reads............................................. .................................................. ............................................. 2nd!

haha.. j/k dude.. one of my best friends is from ken..
and hes dumb as **** too.. lol
dude j/k again.. <<<<<<<<<< i really am kidding.. sorry...
just the same.. if you drop it into second.. you are in second.. same amount of power....
if your car can.. when you floor it, it will automatically <<< get it automatic..... kick down to the lowest possible gear.. you putting it in that gear is a waste of time..
this has been discussed and BEATEN to death so many times before.. YOU CANT OUTSHIFT an automatic.. leave it in drive and floor it.. if you want to "drop it into second" or manual shift.. ex. from a dig shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd.... BUY A MANUAL.. otherwise leave it in D and floor it...
Some folks say when it comes to converters, 'go big or stay home'. I say 'go big or stay slow'.
