Default Sputter & Popping 2000 Z28

Not sure where to begin trouble shooting this at. Basically it runs well until you try and and go WOT for the first time then it sputters and pops out of the intake. But if you have made a few WOT runs it will clear itself up usually but not always. For example cruising around for 30 min at low rpms I decide to down shift into 2nd (m6) at about 35 and accelarate, it just let out some awful popping and sputtering. But later on in the evening I made one run at WOT through 2nd-3rd and it sputtered in 2nd again but cleaned up in 3rd. The car has headers,no cats, has O2 sensors. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try cleaning the throttle body, check the maf and idle air control valve. Whens the last time you filled up? How long has it done this? A little more info please.

Will clean the maf and the IAC today. I have filled up 2 or 3 times since this started at different gas stations. Its been at this for about 2 months.

I think I might have this same problem. It feels like when your car bogs down. Post up if you find your fix.

Mine always ends up being a problem with the o2 sensor. Check them and the wiring going up, make sure it's not snagged on something or resting against the headers.
