Default How much to install tranny?

Due to not having an tools at college, I am going to have someone put my transmission in my TA. What should I look to pay for the installation? A guy quoted me 300-350 yesterday.

I'd say that sounds about right! Tranny work is always a pain in the *** on these cars!

West Lafayette, I go to Purdue. Had the tranny put in and car is amazing. paid 590 for new exhaust manifold gaskets (both sides) that were missing couple bolts and were a PITA, and for the transmission to be put in, I got the tranny for free.

never come to oxnard, ca they charge 500 dollars and i looked around for a better price, steves transmission, took almost a whole fucken day to install my transmission. and before i my tranny broke, they changed my tranny oil and made the car sound like it was grinding grears, they said that was normal sound, then a couple months later they are installing another transmission, and were afraid to rebuild the orig. tranny.
