gauges?
Any Idea on what causes this. 
They are serial data. You need to have someone with a tech 2 or really updated aftermarket scanner (matco snap on etc) that can scan the ipc and bcm to see if they have any class 2 communication codes stored.

its not the fuses or the wires. I checked that. It dont help if u tap it either. It just comes and goes. I dont know any one with the high quality pcm reader either. No one else has ever had this or even heard of this problem? 
It might help if we knew what kind of vehicle it is. If it is a goat as your name somewhat implies and it is an 04 they had tons of problems with clusters and updated ipc reflash's to cure erratic gremlins. But it all starts with knowing what codes it has.
