Default Help It's Smoking!!

Oh god what did I do!!

Yesterday I did an oil change on my new TA. Went with 5w30 Mobil 1 and an AC Delco filter.

I also have a can of seafoam in the gas tank only.

So today I go out and get all the stuff I need to do a coolant flush and change the M6 Fluid.

I also removed the battery and dumped out the overflow tank.

As I restart the car to run the flush through, I notice this!!!!

What the hell is going on and is my engine going to blow up or catch on fire?

Looks like you developed an exhaust leak. Does it dissipate quickly? Looks like it in the video.

I have started the car twice now to finish the coolant flush and both times this did not reoccur. I think it may have been the Seafoam finding a way out and an exhaust leak sounds plausible. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it comes back again. Scared the crap out of me though!!

looks like the seafoam smoke leaking from an exhaust leak right off the head, check the bolts on the air tube against the manifold, mine backed out...

Are you sure you didn't get oil on the motor during the oil change and now it burning off?

Nope, used a funnel to put the oil in. It was smoking the entire time the engine was running. Once I stopped it, the smoke quickly stopped. Within 10 seconds or so. I drove it to work today, didn't see any problems.
