Default oil coming from dip stick

I have a supercharged 2001 camaro ss, under high rpm's the dipstick gets blown out and oil covers the right side of the motor which is a pain in the ***, anyone else have this problem? Once the dip stick is pushed back in the leaking stops. Any ideas????

Sounds like excessive blow by at high rpm, or lack of crankcase ventilation.
There are a lot of things that can cause this.
I had an old big block that would blow the dipstick at high rpm, found out one of the filtered aftermarket valve cover breathers just didn't have a big enough opening to handle normal ventilation. I installed a better flowing breather and fixed the problem.

A good start would be a leak down test to see how well the rings are seating and see if the crankcase is ventilated well enough and nothing is blocked.

Don't forget to check your PCV system, sounds like you might have a stuck PCV valve.

it is right by the throttle body inline with the tubing! you can also try having a breather instead of an oil cap

Damn, I hate it when my blower causes me to have too much blow by.

Don't know if thats an attempt at a joke or what but any increase in cylinder pressure is going to increase blow by.

You deff have something that won't let your engine breath well enough for your blower. Like was said before make sure that your pvc system is not blocked some how. You should probably modify your pvc system to include a vented catch can or maybe put the breather where the oil cap is.

Can you explain in detail your crankcase ventalation system? Having it setup properly is crucial to a FI motor not breathing properly..

Since no one else said it...time for a cylinder leak down test imo. I had the same problem. I'll be fixing it with a 402.

Did it blow the dipstick out the first time you got on it after installing the supercharger? If it did then you may have a PCV issue. If this problem just recently arised then something probably happened inside the engine to cause the change. In my case #7 had 90% leakdown.

How long have you had the blower on? If you just installed, it could be as simple as putting boost in to your crank case by improperly hooking up your PCV. Either way I agree it's still a good idea to do a leak down on a 7 year old engine.

My supercharged mustang did the exact same thing when I put the blower on. First time I drove it, hit boost and smoke everywhere, it was blowing the dipstick clean out. Vented the valve covers and no more problems.
